Had to remove all nvidia rpms, and that includes the nvidia firmware one. With it installed the dracut was giving results like 180M for regular and 280 for rescue. This is result with the hostonly and strict. Other machine has 79M regular image files, but I would think using the sloppy. Since these are both notebooks, don't seem to see hardware changes as an issue. Might remove the strict option, and see if it goes to the 79M size. Learned some new things.
