That is a good suggestion. However, I think there are some configuration issues still.

Here is my documentation on how to set up a bridge.
Keep in mind that if Sam says something different,
go with him.  He is 1000 time more skilled at this
than me.  This is aimed at bridging a qemu-kvm
virtual machine.


Setting Up a Network Bridge Using nmcli Tool:

Unfortunately, this is for a much different use case and probably not very helpful here. I highly recommend using nm-connection-editor instead of editing files or running nmcli directly. It is very helpful and covers almost all situations.
