The idea is to test if it causes the same problems in the windows VM. It will of course then only work in the VM, but it is just a test. > > > > > You can then also try to switch the mode, so it is a real modem that > > will be used by ModemManager. > > I do not understand. Some USB devices can act as 2 roles. In this case, it acts as an ethernet adapter and the cellular stuff is being done by the dongle itself. Maybe it also supports modem mode where it acts like a real modem connected to the PC. https://www.draisberghof.de/usb_modeswitch/ This application should be available in Fedora, no need to build it manually. -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to users-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
