Professor Google told me to just use zbarimg:

zbarimg --raw /dev/video0

But I get:

ERROR: Unable to open file (/dev/video0)

I tried sudo, but that did not help.

recommendations?

I do wonder how it will "know" that I have the QR in front of the camera and it is in proper focus...
