The following worked for me:
Settings>Privacy & Security>
Cookies and Site Data
Manage Data
Search for quora.com
click on the line found
click on <Remove Selected> button
click on <Save Changes> button
quit the browser

Next time when connecting to the quora.com site with Firefox,
Allowing cookies was proposed.
