Tihs is that same system. I cloned it back to fc39. After a dnf update, lightdm stopped working. Funny. I liked the version of Thunderbird on fc41, so I installed it. After that, a YUGE update went through and now I am on 41. There are some leftover 39 packages, but they do not have a 41 equivalent, so I will probably just remove the 39's.
