You can also of course use the execrable HyperKitty web interface,

Test sends a bounce message that my emails have been received but I
don't get any of the replies unless I use HYPERKITTY. NONE OF THE
ACTIVITY ON THE LIST COMES TO THE EMAIL.
If you mean your mail to the list maintainers has been received (not
bounced) then have a little patience. As a list maintainer myself (on
the Evolution list) I know it can take a while to get round to
answering some queries. It's not like it's a full-time job.
When I went to subscribe the interface told me accounts are now handle by FAS, and that interface specified that I needed to create and account or I could specify an email address to register without creating an account.

Steve

Hello from Fedora mailing-lists!

You are receiving this e-mail because you or someone else has requested a
password for your user account. However, we do not have any record of a user
with email mcfo...@bellsouth.net in our database.

This mail can be safely ignored if you did not request a password reset.

If it was you, you can sign up for an account using the link below.

Thank you for using Fedora mailing-lists!
lists.fedoraproject.org
____
Here I get into a loop
____
Account creation for the Fedora mailing-lists is done by creating an
account in FAS <https://accounts.fedoraproject.org/>.
____
Created an account but from the account page there is no way to access
the list
I can see a number of messages mcfo...@bellsouth.net on the list, so at
some point the address was subscribed to the list. If it no longer
exists then it must have been removed, either by accident or
intentionally. That would explain the message you're getting, which is
clearly an automated response from the list software, not a personal
reply from the list maintainers (users-ow...@lists.fedoraproject.org).
They are the only ones who can help in restoring the missing address.

In your original post you mentioned subscribing a new email address
without creating an account. I don't understand what you mean by that.
AFAIK subscribing to the Users list doesn't require you to create any
kind of account.
