free space 484.79 Gb.
Fedora 40 should be installed (fresh) on the free space partition , but
one way or another I do not manage.
Since you don't show a /boot/efi partition the assumption is that your
system is older and is using a bios boot. Assuming GUID Partition table
which is indicated by the "microsoft reserved" partition. The netinstall
DVD should take you to the install options of which one is "custom".
There you should be able to see the free space and assign part of it as
/boot and the rest for the Operating system. You may need a small 2MB
partition designated as a"Bios Boot"
