I have Thunderbird to auto select the sending format, in which case it will send the message in plain text if no styling is used, otherwise it will send it in HTML with a plain text fallback. The option to send both HTML and Plain Text says the recipients email application will determine which version to show, is the email application used for this list not able to make that determination. There is a composition option to send only Plain Text, but these options are global, and I should not have to swap backwards and forwards between options depending on where I'm sending a mail to. Is there any way around this?

regards,
Steve
