The fact that the usb inserted prevents you from 'F*number*' (as in F12 or whatever) into your BIOS is the most peculiar thing I have heard. I don't know much about the engineering of these various flash drives and usb drives, but I was surprised on occasion to see that some had a password protection. Is it possible that the computer is seeing something at machine level like a mistakenly set or unset flag that makes the processor think that the stick is where to find the BIOS?
It only does this on the laptop. It works fine on the desktop. _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe send an email to users-le...@lists.fedoraproject.org Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@lists.fedoraproject.org Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
