Hi, I have a Samsung ML-1740 printer connected via USB that I managed to get working with fedora37, but after a complete reinstall, I can't remember how I did it, nor manage to figure it out.
I thought I located a PPD file, but now can't find one. I also recall working with CUPS on the web backend, but I also tried changing some of those settings and still can't get it to work. Sending a document to printer gives every indication it has been printed, including a message telling me the document was printed and the printer actually warming up like it's going to print, except nothing ever comes out. It only has a USB connection, so there is no IP address, so I can't use IPP or other methods, correct? The printer is literally 20 years old (manufactured in March, 2004), but still works just fine. It does make it tough to configure, though. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks, Alex
