In case it helps... we use Ionos (https://www.ionos.com/servers/vps)
for a free/open source project Crypto++ (https://www.cryptopp.com/).

Ionos provides a VM with 2 Xeon CPUs (capable of AVX2), 80 GB of hard
drive space, and 2 GB of RAM with a swap file. The machine runs a LAMP
stack with a Mediawiki.

We also get SSH access. The VPS also has one of those web-based
virtual terminals, but we don't use it.

It costs about $5 dollars a month. There are no "free/open source"
specials. That's the regular price for a VPS.
