I have a Thinkpad X1 Carbon gen 11 (latest gen) on my desk now that has a USB-A
port on both sides, as well a 1 C port that’s used for power, and an HDMI port.

The USB-C plugs into a Lenovo dock which has Ethernet, monitor, keyboard and a
handful of other ports attached, so I often don’t need extra connectors. I
mostly use the A ports for writing a USB storage stick with a Fedora ISO.
