I think KeePass sends keypresses rather than copy-paste, at least when
using auto-type of passwords. I *have* encountered sites that inhibit
paste, but so far I have not encountered any sites where auto-type
doesn't work.  Sometimes auto-type has to be customized to accommodate
a specific tab sequence, delays for going to a 2nd page, etc.

I still think you should check into it and see if it addresses your issues.
