About two or three times a year an update will make my system forget
the default audio device and I'll have to run gnome control panel to set
sound out to my HDMI output (where I want it). Definitely doesn't
happen every time for me, but definitely does happen occasionally. No
idea what distinguishes one update from another.

Another favorite failure after an update is my wireless keyboard
USB dongle no longer talking to the keyboard. That's more frequent
than forgetting the audio and I have to fix it by unplugging and
plugging back in the dongle.
