Hello everyone, I have just bought a Plantronics Blackwire 3310 headset, it connects via USB. I am connecting the headset and it appears to work well (I tested with skype). I have, however, a question. Is it normal for this device to show up in my Input Devices (in the Sound settings - Gnome) as a "Analog Input - Poly Blackwire 3310". Isn't the sound coming in from my usb device, digital? Also, there is a test function in those settings, when I click the test button (headset is mono), all I get is static noise, is that supposed to be the test sound?
