I think bluetoothctl is managing the connection and piper adds functionalities

I have the full journal file and just cut what I thought to be relevant. I can
post the file somewhere.. indeed I see MX Master 3 Keyboard I have no idea why,
as earlier/later there is the K480 keyboard recognized. So maybe that is the
issue? The mouse MAC address is FC:5E:D2:E1:3D:D8.

I'm thinking to downgrade the packages and wait for the next update... but
shouldn't I file a bug too, and if so what info should I provide? * and so

Another question.

I think you're running Gnome Wayland.  Does the same issue exist if you run
Gnome Xorg?

FWIW, I don't see any error in your journal.

If you can downgrade the bluez packages and the issue goes away, then yes, that
would confirm a problem
with one of them.

If not, also try booting the previous kernel and wait for the next kernel
upgrade to see if that changes anything.
