Bluetooth audio uses compression. There isn't enough bandwidth for

switching between pipewire and pulseaudio.
There are multiple compression methods and the better ones have patents.
Try installing "pipewire-codec-aptx" from rpmfusion and see if that
makes a difference. There's a similar one called
"pulseaudio-module-bluetooth-freeworld" for pulseaudio.
