I recently installed stardict. Fedora repo does not provide bilingual dictionaries (French-English etc.), so I found this site: http://stardict.sourceforge.net/Dictionaries_dictd-www.freedict.de.php With a lot of tarball English - Latin tarball GPL, 65K and so on. The problem is: every link download the same tarball: the full Stardict source to compile startdict.... What is this mess?
