This the result:
[efeoli@localhost ~]$ rpm -q openjfix openjfx8
package openjfix is not installed
openjfx8-8.0.202-26.b07.fc34.x86_64
[efeoli@localhost ~]$ 



It looks as if openjfx8 was not removed. Perhaps I did not serached
well?

That's "odd".  Could you just send the result of typing this from the
commad line?

rpm -q openjfix openjfx8

You should get....

package openjfix is not installed
package openjfx8 is not installed
