I couldn't agree more. I always tell people to use a password manager,
preferably not the one in their browser. Then the banks come up with
their ridiculous login policies which (in every case I know about)
actually *prevent* you from using a PM to log in. You have to store
authentication info in a secure note and copy-paste into the website.

And at least one bank I know blocks you from using copy-paste, a policy
which seems tailor-made to force people to use simple passwords.
Luckily we're on Linux so we can do the middle-button thing, which they
can't trap.

Or has Wayland dropped support for that?
