It wouldn't be a fair contest since Samuel is one time zone away and you're 15

Strange expression.  Haven't heard it before.  I'll have to ask those Dutch

It is from the novel "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes.  If I recall 
correctly it was written in the early
17th century.
