This is where I put configuration for gdm’s dconf settings. For example, this is how you set the login banner: https://help.gnome.org/admin/system-admin-guide/stable/login-banner.html.en This method is much better than trying to muck around in the gdm user’s homedir. -- Jonathan Billings
