Ok, it seems

        sudo dnf group install KDE

is the same as

       sudo dnf group install @kde-desktop
which I used.

KDE is still not working perfectly since I have a problem with VMs that I
have started another thread for.

I have even done

      sudo dnf swap -y fedora-release-workstation fedora-release-kde

No change.
