I don't know if it's still true, but PrintScreen used to work when you were in CMOS, or the BIOS setup screen. (Probably not; useful things like this tend to go away as people forget what they're for.) The point is, one you get everything set up correctly, you can use this to get a hard copy record of how your system's supposed to be. If you need to reset things after a battery change, you can use this for a guide. And, if there's room, you can keep it inside the case so it won't get lost.
