BTW, if you are running Workstation and you'd like to have the menu shown at all boots you can issue this command at a terminal. (Some folks have reported they aren't quick enough at the escape key.) sudo grub2-editenv - unset menu_auto_hide -- The key to getting good answers is to ask good questions.
