Nope that didnt fix it... My monitor still blinks on and off when coming back to the computer after being away for a couple hours. I just came back to the computer and the screen blinked 3 times. I had to turn off my monitor and turn it back on and hold a key down on the keyboard to get it to wake up on the 3rd try.
