Can you boot a different distro from a live CD/DVD? If you find one that works you can compare module versions and options (quirks). Most systems seem to use usb_storage and uas modules. usb_storage has a quirks parameter. With luck someone with the same usb chipset has found the quirk setting you need and put the details where Goggle can find them. -- George N. White III
