Does a simple "modprobe vboxdrv" also fails ?

What gives: modinfo vboxdrv

Also, double check that the modules have been build with:

  dnf list installed kmod-VirtualBox\*

With Fedora 31 you have newer kernels: the Virtualbox sources may
become incompatile with them.
