The Boot Repair CD <https://sourceforge.net/p/boot-repair-cd/home/Home/> was worked for me. 2) Windows 10 "fast boot mode" should be disabled on dual boot configurations. This is essentially hibernation and seems to bypass normal boot processing. It also means any changes to Windows filesystems from linux will be lost when Windows restarts. -- George N. White III
