Welcome.... One more thing. Based on what commands were given to get this working I wonder if you didn't have a typo earlier when you created the directory. I would do an ls / to make sure you don't have a directory with a bad name. As well as ls /nfs4exports again to make sure you don't have directories you're not expecting.
