Are you using the google/chrome repository at:

 http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64

it's at 76.

All my desktops are centos-7, so I can't swear that this will work with centos-6.

By the way, the current release of centos-6 is .10, so your .5 machine is rather out of date.

Subject: Re: error when running video in chrome -- centos6.5

Hi Ed.

For centos6.5 (which I think is pretty close to EOL) the current
version is the latest in the repos.

I might have to recheck this to be sure.

thanks

I have to ask. Why can't you upgrade to the latest chrome?
Current is 76.0.3809.100, so what you have is exceedingly old.

If simple questions can be answered with a simple google query
then why are there so many of them?
