Yes and no.
My interpretation is that gnome stuck only
gnome stuck when I try to leave the lock mode (no screensaver is activated)
and when the sshfs is stalled.

What I cold try:
1) stall the sshfs, how?
2) turn the screen to lock
3) try to unclock the screen
