I've occasionally come across that.  It's either jammed on some media
file it doesn't like, or dead looped when it's been asked to play files
on repeat, and it can't load the file.  It excessively tries to access
a non-existent file, instead of quitting.

I wonder whether it uses repackaged/wrapped windows codecs for some
files, and they're just a crap codec.
