Where is the crab entry written?  My /var/spool/cron is empty

/var/spool/cron is for user crontabs.  System ones are in /etc/cron.*

# ls -al /var/spool/cron
total 8
drwx------.  2 root root 4096 Feb  6  2018 .
drwxr-xr-x. 15 root root 4096 Feb  7  2018 ..

What did man-db-cron add?

Did you read the message you replied to?  /var/spool/cron is only for user crontabs.  If it's a system added cron entry, it will be in one of the /etc/cron.* directories.

# dnf repoquery -l man-db-cron
/etc/cron.daily/man-db.cron

Or use "rpm -ql man-db-cron" if you have it installed already.

Thank you!
