I believe I have used System Settings->Startup and Shutdown->Login Screen (SDDM) correctly. I * set the theme to Breeze * click on Background * click on the green image * choose a local file * click Apply The green box is replaced by a thumbnail of my chosen image.
However there is on effect on the login screen and when I start over at System Settings->Startup and Shutdown->Login Screen (SDDM) the image is gone and the green box has reappeared. What's (not) happening? Maybe a missing configuration directory? No easy to find error messages. Thanks - jon
