This isn't any help for the OP who specified that he didn't want an inkjet or networked printer, but my relatively new HP-6968 all-in-one works quite well for printing, scanning and faxing with the stock hplip driver. I can't say that I've done careful checks to ensure that the colors match exactly, but I have checked to see that the photos printed from a Windows 10 system look identical to those from my Fedora system. --Greg
