I tried again writing with Brasero a 2.1GB mp4 as an iso to a file. Result erroneous, the original is cut to 2.0GB, as is the resulting iso. You can be right with hardware problems. I have F27 on an 32GB usb flash medium, possibly the stick is dying. I have to test the usb stick. Thank You Joerg
