I've been happily using the mate desktop until yesterday when, after an upgrade to F27, I decided to give gnome3 another chance. Knock on wood, all seems well, except that the screen does not lock.
I always boot to level 3, so I start X at the command line with startx. I also know that I have to start gnome-screensaver when X starts, and I tried to do so from gnome-tweak-tool -> startup applications, but I don't see it listed. What's the proper way to start gnome-screensaver whith startx?
