I don't know why, but it doesn't seem to be working for him. From an earlier

sudo systemctl enableopenvpn-client@ibecker2.service

That is normally not needed, systemctl should create the symlinks himself.

→ /usr/lib/systemd/system/openvpn-client@.service.
