Ah! Looking at that beastie, I'm thinking the fan may be the issue.
Having a big old fan exposed like that (not in a shielded chassis) might
cause enough EMF noise to screw with your wifi. If there's a way to
disable the fan, I'd give it a whirl just to see if that's the problem.
