I just did it, and it was easy. Just go to the Tor site, download the the software and run it from your own home directory. It will do the routing and such automatically. There's essentially no configuration, unless you want to tweak with it yourself. I also did it using the fedora repository (e.g. tor and tor-browser- launcher). It also worked fine.
