I reinstalled a bit ago and did the updates.  I just rebooted with f24
usbstick and did vgscan.  That showed what I had seen earlier with lvscan.
The lvscan shows /dev/fedora_24/boot  ..../home ..../swap

I had tried the vgchange with fedora_24 and had an error.  This time I
tried it and it activated them all.  Not sure why it didn't work last time.
