Well, I put it up to conjecture that it tries to read it again and succeeds.

I also don't know what "Invalid argument" is suppose to mean/indicate.

And I still don't know why a fresh F25 install shows this but my upgraded F24 
systems don't.

But, since all works and I really don't use sendmail at all, I think I'll go 
back to
sleep.  :-) :-)
