If yes, then you could consider using the simpler and more reliable commandline option: # in order to make a bootable cd, etc, on the commandline: sudo dd if=path-to-iso.iso of=/dev/sdb bs=1M # In the above, if (input file) has path-to-iso.iso is the location of your iso. For example: /tmp/Fedora.iso # Note: only the letter-drive is to be included in the of (output file) i.e. /dev/sdb not inclusive of the numeral /dev/sdb1.
