Hi Maurizio,

Are you running Fedora Workstation (Gnome Desktop)?

Recently I disabled gnome-software update cache, so now Gnome Software
do not automaticaly update the updates database in a randomly way,
since this I don't have more updates notifications. I update every day
via command line, What I disliked from GNOME Software updates was to
reboot the system to fully install the new packages, I don't have to
do this when I update via command line.

This is the command:
su -c 'gsettings set org.gnome.software download-updates false'

And also I disabled dnf automake update cache service:

su -c 'systemctl disable dnf-makecache.service'
su -c 'systemctl disable dnf-makecache.timer'

Polite as usual,
Porfirio.
