You really have to check the code; there's no good substitute. See

And Electron itself appears to be a fork of Chromium, with nodejs (a   
system for writing applications in javascript) included. So, that makes
this rabbit hole https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1270322
a dependency.
