Hi,

I am using a dual channel Dlink DWA192 wireless USB adapter. This adapter is supported in the kernel via the Ath9k driver, but only the 2.4GHz band is supported, the 5 GHz band is not. Looking at the Networkmanager connection speed statistics the speed alternates between 135Mb/s and 1Mb/s, which on a 600Mb/s link is terrible. On windows with the vendor supplied driver I get 565Mb/s on the 2.4GHz band and 1.3Gb/s on the 5GHz band. How do I determine why I'm not getting to full connection speed from the 2.4GHz band, and how do I determine why the kernel doesn't support the 5GHz band?

regards,

Steve
