Because certain desktop programmers didn't consider it worth their while
to continue to provide them.  (Tim gives Gnome a dirty look.)

Say which desktop you're using.  I'm not on F22, yet, but on one of my
PCs I switched to Mate, and it does have a basic slideshow screensaver.
