Thanks, Heinz, but that has not solved the problem. Kevin Fenzi wrote
in my bug report:

So, H.264 isnt a codec Fedora ships (It has patents associated with it).

parole moved from gstreamer 0.10, to gstreamer1 in that update.

Likely you have a package that provides a H.264 decoder for gstreamer
0.10, but not gstreamer 1 installed. Likely it's called
'gstreamer-plugins-ugly' or similar. If you install the
'gstreamer1-plugins-ugly' from the same place the new parole should
play those files.

The problem still persists, unfortunately.

My installed gstreamer packages are the following:

gstreamer.x86_64
gstreamer-ffmpeg.x86_64
gstreamer-plugins-bad.x86_64
gstreamer-plugins-bad-free.x86_64
gstreamer-plugins-base.x86_64
gstreamer-plugins-espeak.x86_64
gstreamer-plugins-good.x86_64
gstreamer-plugins-ugly.x86_64
gstreamer-python.x86_64
gstreamer-tools.x86_64
gstreamer1.x86_64
gstreamer1-plugins-bad-free.x86_64
gstreamer1-plugins-bad-freeworld.x86_64
gstreamer1-plugins-base.x86_64
gstreamer1-plugins-good.x86_64
gstreamer1-plugins-ugly.x86_64
